Dog Training Services
Keep your dogs active, fit and well-behaved with first class training from a qualified and experienced dog trainer at Rosie’s Hound Advice. We have a purpose-built training hall located at Carr Lane Kennels Ltd, where we can provide effective dog training at competitive prices. All of our training is on a one-to-one basis. Training is games-focused, which is the best way to engage your dog/puppy’s attention and, as such, the most effective and enjoyable way to train dogs/puppies. Puppies and dogs quickly learn that training is fun and that fun has rules. We are happy to answer any questions regarding training and prices.
Dog Obedience Classes
Whether you have a new puppy, an older dog or a rescue, our Foundation Skills Course will help you and your dog/puppy build a loving and long-lasting relationship between you. This 6 week course teaches the important life-skills required for your dog/puppy to become a well-adjusted member of your family, focusing on teaching good manners and basic obedience, building attention and canine self-control. The course includes handouts.
Our methods are very hands off and positive, which do not cause pain or fear to either dog or human, and we show you how to use food effectively as rewards and not bribes.
We encourage all the family (including children) to attend the classes and get involved, the training environment is fun, friendly and relaxed. We tailor the timing of the sessions to suit both of us.
Personalised Training Sessions
No dog is the same! We'll work hard to understand your dog's nature and tailor our training classes to their individual needs. We can also work on any issues you have highlighted and achieve a better relationship between you and your dog. Get in touch if there’s anything specific you would like to discuss.
